Key facts
01What it is
The CIIP fund route without a share return
The same fund programme, but the share is not returned after 5 years. Citizenship and passport are the same as under the DSP contribution route and the fund with return.
02Price for a family of up to 4
$145,000 including the due diligence fee
One amount for a family of up to four, with the due diligence fee already included. Paid once, against an invoice issued through a licensed agent.
03Compared with the CIIP fund
$20,000 less than the fund with return
The fund with return costs $165,000 with the fee, and $50,000 of it comes back after 5 years. Here you pay less upfront, but the share is not returned.
04Compared with the DSP
$10,000 less than the contribution for a couple
A couple pays $155,000 with the fee under the DSP contribution route and $145,000 here. A family of six pays $198,000, also less than the contribution.
Common mistakes
Thinking this is a separate programme with a different passport.
It is an option within the CIIP fund programme. Citizenship and the passport are the same whichever route you take.
Confusing this option with the DSP contribution programme.
The DSP is a non-refundable contribution to the state, priced per person on a fixed scale. Here one amount covers a family of up to four - $145,000 including the fee.
Choosing without comparing all three calculations.
Compare the DSP contribution, the fund with a $50,000 return after 5 years and the fund without return for your family size. We run all three before you choose.
