What Dependant aged 18-25 (Vanuatu) means
A dependant aged 18-25 is an adult child included in the family's Vanuatu citizenship application. The conditions: full-time study, no own income, unmarried.
They file the full adult document set: criminal record certificate, a second ID, a CV and a medical report. In the CIIP form their role is Dependent resident, fields D, and they sign themselves.
Children over 25 can also be included, which is more complex: conditions are set from the family's documents.

Key facts
01Who can be included
A dependent child aged 18-25
Conditions: full-time study, no income of their own, not married. Then the child goes into the family application; no separate one is needed.
02Documents from age 18
The full adult set
Police clearance, a second ID, a CV and a medical certificate. The child provides their own documents; the parents' papers do not replace them.
03CIIP form
Dependent resident role, section D
The child completes their own section and signs it personally. A parent's signature for an adult child is not accepted.
04Price under the DSP contribution programme
+$10,000 for each additional person
DSP scale: a couple with two children pays $180,000; each additional participant, including an adult child, adds $10,000 to the contribution to the Vanuatu government.
Common mistakes
Saying that over 25 means a separate application only.
Children over 25 can also join the family application. It is harder, and we work out the conditions from the documents.
Forgetting police clearance for a child over 18.
From 18, every participant needs police clearance. Order it together with the parents' documents.
Signing the form on behalf of an adult child.
A child aged 18-25 signs their own section of the form.
