What Official DSP contribution schedule means
The official DSP contribution schedule is the set of amounts published by the Vanuatu Citizenship Office. It is the state price list and is the same with every agent.
A single applicant pays $130,000, a couple $150,000, a couple with a child $165,000, a couple with two children $180,000, and each additional person +$10,000. On top comes a $5,000 due diligence fee per application.
The schedule is not linear: the second adult costs $20,000, the first and second child $15,000 each, and from the fifth person it is strictly $10,000.
A simple example
A family of four under the DSP schedule: $180,000 contribution and $5,000 fee - $185,000. In the fund the same family pays $165,000.

05 / Key facts
Key facts
01DSP contribution programme
$130,000 for a single applicant
This is a non-refundable contribution to the Government of Vanuatu. The applicant pays it against the official government invoice issued through a licensed agent.
02DSP family schedule
Couple $150,000, plus a child $165,000, two $180,000
The schedule is not linear: the second adult adds $20,000, the first and second child $15,000 each. The Citizenship Office publishes the amounts, so they are the same with every agent.
03Fifth person onwards in DSP
+$10,000 for each additional person
From the fifth person, each member of a DSP application adds exactly $10,000 to the contribution. It goes on the same government invoice; the total for a large family follows the invoice.
04DSP due diligence fee
$5,000 once for the whole application
The fee is paid first, at filing, to the state vetting body (FIU). It is not multiplied by family size: one person or a family of six pay the same $5,000.
Common mistakes
Multiplying $130,000 by the number of people
Use the official schedule: a family of four pays a $180,000 contribution, not $520,000.
Multiplying the due diligence fee by the number of people
The $5,000 fee is paid once per application. A family of four under the DSP pays $180,000 plus $5,000, or $185,000 in total.
Using amounts from old estimates and reviews
Check the current Citizenship Office schedule. The exact amount for your family is fixed by the official invoice.

How to prepare
Calculate the contribution from the schedule and compare it with the fund: for a family of three or more the fund is cheaper even without the share return.
