Documents

International document preparation, end to end

We obtain the document in the country of issue, arrange the apostille or consular legalisation, translate it and send it ready to file. One lawyer handles a single document or a whole family's set.

Ask a question

We work under a power of attorney: no need to travel to the country of issue.

Preparing a document

Select the document and the country that issued it: we will show the steps, timing and cost. A lawyer will check the requirements and send an itemised estimate.

If the document goes to a country outside the Hague Convention, such as Egypt, Qatar or Kuwait, it needs consular legalisation instead of an apostille.

Select the country that issued the document: we will show the steps, timing and cost.

  1. Obtaining. We request the document in the country of issue.
  2. Translation, if you wish. With us or on the spot in the receiving country: one apostilled document is translated into the language required.
  3. Delivery. We send the original by tracked courier to any country.

Five steps

How we work

  1. 01Request

You name the document and the receiving country. You can send a scan or photo of what you have.

    From you: Name and phone

  2. 02Check and estimate

We check the receiving country's requirements and send an itemised estimate: obtaining, legalisation, translation, delivery.

    From you: Approve the estimate

  3. 03Obtaining

We request the document in the country of issue through partners. For old records we first check whether the record is in an archive.

From you: A power of attorney, if needed

  4. 04Legalisation and translation

Apostille or consular legalisation, translation and certification in the form the receiving country accepts.

    From you: Nothing required

  5. 05Check and delivery

We check the spelling of names against the passport and the validity of certificates. We send by tracked courier.

    From you: Delivery address

Questions and answers

Did not find your answer? A lawyer will reply on your situation.

No. Just name the country and the goal: residency, citizenship, a bank, a company or a transaction. We determine the list and order of preparation and check them against the programme's requirements.

If both countries are party to the 1961 Hague Convention, an apostille is enough. If one of them is not, the document goes through consular legalisation. The check above suggests the form by country of issue.

Yes. A certificate from one country, a police certificate from another and a diploma from a third go in one request with a shared timeline and a single filing format.

Yes. We prepare documents for the applicant, spouse and children together: this makes it easier to keep certificates in date and names spelled the same across all documents.

We request a reissued copy or run an archive search in the country of issue. For old records we check the possibility before work starts and tell you straight away if the record has not survived.

The cost depends on the documents, countries and form of legalisation. After the check we send an itemised estimate: obtaining, apostille or legalisation, translation, certification, delivery. Government fees are on a separate line.

The longest document in the set sets the timing: archive requests and consular legalisation take longer than an apostille. We account for the validity of certificates so they do not expire by the filing date.

Yes. We send originals by international tracked courier.
