02 / In plain words
What Medical tests for Cyprus PR means
A Migration Department announcement of 25.06.2026 added medical tests to applications for immigration permits in categories A-F from 01.09.2026: blood tests for hepatitis B and C, HIV and syphilis, and a chest X-ray. The tests are done abroad and filed certified.
Investor PR is granted under a separate rule, Reg. 6(2). The announcement does not name it, so we do not claim the tests are mandatory for it, nor that they are not. Before every filing we check the current document list on gov.cy.
If the list on the filing date requires the tests, the client does them at home and we arrange certification and translation. As a guide, expect about €150 per person.
A simple example
A family is preparing to file in November 2026. A month before the appointment we check the document list on gov.cy. If it includes the tests, each family member does them at home and we arrange certification and translation.

How to prepare in advance
Do not do the tests in advance. We will check the list 3-4 weeks before filing and, if the tests are needed, tell you where and how to do them.
What we do for you. We follow the Migration Department document list and add the tests to the schedule only if they are required on the filing date.
