02 / In plain words
What Family members in Cyprus PR means
Dependent family members in Cyprus PR are the people who receive permanent residence together with the investor. The main application covers the applicant, the spouse and children under 18, and one €300,000 investment is enough for all of them.
The applicant's €50,000 annual income is increased by €15,000 for the spouse and €10,000 for each child under 18. Students aged 18-25 (unmarried, at a university abroad, dependent on their parents) file their own application, and the parents need €10,000 more income. Adult financially independent children require a separate investment and their own income from €50,000.
The parents of the applicant and spouse are not part of investment PR. If a child travels with only one parent, the other parent's consent signed before a Cyprus consul is required. A child or spouse can also be added later to a permit already issued, for €50 + €70.
A simple example
A family: husband, wife, a 10-year-old son and a 21-year-old daughter studying at a university in Europe. One main application for three, a separate one for the daughter. Income needed: €50,000 + €15,000 + €10,000 + €10,000 = €85,000. One investment of €300,000.

05 / Key facts
What matters
01Spouse
In the main application
Shares the same investment, +€15,000 income. Can also get a separate permit with an own application and fee.
02Students 18-25
Own application
Unmarried, at a university abroad, dependent. Own fee €500 + €70, a university letter, +€10,000 income for the parents.
03Adult children
Own investment
With one independent child you need €600,000, with two - €900,000, and each needs their own income from €50,000.
04Parental consent
Before a consul only
Without the other parent's consent signed before a Cyprus consul, the child cannot be included.
Common mistakes
Adding parents to the application
Parents are not part of investment PR. We find them another residence permit, for example for financially independent persons.
Having the consent signed by an ordinary notary
The consent must be signed before a Cyprus consul. Book the consulate in advance.
Leaving a student out of the income
Each student aged 18-25 adds €10,000 to the parents' required income.
06 / Expert advice

How to prepare in advance
Check marriage and birth certificates and passport validity. If a child travels without the other parent, book the Cyprus consulate for the consent signature right away.
What we do for you. We decide who goes in the main application, calculate income, prepare documents for each person and book the consent signature at the consulate.
