Elena Titova

Client Relationship Manager, BRIDGES

I am the first to answer a client: I work out the question, say honestly what is possible and what is not, and pass the matter to the expert who will run it. Ten years in client work, at BRIDGES since 2022.

Yekaterinburg, Dubai

Yekaterinburg, Dubai. First hotels and guests from all over the world, then a private clinic, now the first conversations with BRIDGES clients.

  1. 1993Yekaterinburg

Born in Yekaterinburg. At school she ran the school newspaper and interviewed anyone who agreed, from the head teacher to visiting musicians.

  2. 2010-2015Yekaterinburg

Faculty of journalism. She learned to ask questions so that a person tells the main thing in five minutes.

  3. 2015-2019Dubai

Four years in guest relations at a large hotel: families from all over the world, visas, doctors, schools for children during a posting. Here she realised people need one person who takes the question on.

  4. 2019-2022Dubai

Coordinator for Russian-speaking patients at a private clinic: appointments, documents, insurance, support for families. She got used to answering fast and calmly when a person is anxious.

  5. 2022BRIDGES

Joined the BRIDGES Dubai office as the first contact for new clients. Today most first enquiries go through her.

  6. TodayDubai

Client relationship manager at BRIDGES. She answers the first enquiry, gathers the details and the same day passes the matter to the expert who will run it.

Approach to cases

Six rules that do not depend on the country

Six rules Elena applies to every client.

  1. 01An answer the same day

Everyone who writes or calls gets an answer from a real person within the working day.

  2. 02I listen first

Who is in the family, which passports, what the person fears and wants. Without that any advice is a shot in the dark.

  3. 03Honest, even when it is inconvenient

If a programme will not solve the client’s problem, I say so at once. Better to lose a sale than trust.

  4. 04Plain words

No laws and abbreviations. The client should understand the answer the first time.

  5. 05The right expert

Tax to Dmitry, property to Igor, documents to Anna. The client does not go round in circles.

  6. 06Nothing gets lost

Everything the client told us is written down and passed to the expert. There is no need to retell the story.

Beyond work

The desert, the sea and conversations

At BRIDGES I am the person where everything begins. I love it when someone writes briefly and uncertainly, and half an hour later they have an understanding, an expert’s name and a meeting time.

I am from Yekaterinburg and have lived in Dubai for ten years with my husband and son. Here I learned not to fear the heat, to drive in the desert and that home is people, not a city.

At weekends we head to the sea or to the Hatta mountains. I take Arabic lessons, write short stories about people I have met and every summer take my son to his grandmother in the Urals.

Case stories

Three matters in Elena’s own words

How an entire family with parents obtained Egyptian citizenship in approximately six months

Egypt · citizenship

The parents were not left out

The head of a family wrote with one main question: could citizenship be obtained together with his elderly parents. He feared he would have to invest separately for them and that the timeline would stretch.

I found out the family’s make-up and passed the matter straight to our Egypt expert. All six went into one family pack on one investment, and the whole family received passports in about six months.

Outcome: Egyptian citizenship for all six, parents included

How a Long-Standing Client with an Antigua and Barbuda Passport Obtained Greece Residence Permit

Greece · residence

Three generations in one application

A large family, long-standing BRIDGES clients with Antigua passports, wrote that they wanted residence in Europe for everyone: the couple, three children and the parents.

I pulled up their history with us and explained the main point: with Caribbean passports the Greek Golden Visa is filed directly. An expert then ran the matter, and I stayed in touch with the family until the cards were issued.

Outcome: Greek residence for three generations of the family

Honest truth: Turkey residence permit (İkamet) ≠ automatic tax residency

Turkey · residence

An honest answer that saved money

A client obtained Turkish residence and was sure he had automatically become a tax resident there and his tax question was settled.

I said honestly that it is not so: the card gives the right to live in the country, and tax status depends on days and the centre of life. We brought in a tax adviser, and the client built his status knowingly.

Outcome: The client made decisions seeing the real picture
