The EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act was passed: thresholds of $800,000 and $1,050,000, reserved quotas for rural, distressed and infrastructure projects and new requirements for regional centres.

The possibility of filing the petition and the application to adjust status at the same time was introduced for those already in the United States lawfully.
- 2024-01-01
USCIS confirmed priority processing of petitions on rural projects - for countries with a long queue that is the main way to shorten the timeline.
- 2026-10-01
The October Visa Bulletin of the US Department of State reopened the main EB-5 quota for Indian nationals: it was unavailable at the end of the previous fiscal year, and the final action date is now 1 December 2023. The quotas for rural, high-unemployment and infrastructure projects remain current for all countries.
