Born in Leipzig. She learned Russian at school and really started speaking it during an exchange year in Volgograd.

School of public administration, specialising in migration law. An internship at the foreigners’ office.

Seven years as an officer at the foreigners’ office: she received and checked residence applications. She knows from the inside why one matter is approved in a week and another sits for months.

01I look through the inspector’s eyes
Before filing I check the matter the way I would have checked it at the office. Anything that will raise a question is fixed in advance.

An incomplete application means months of waiting. We file only when every document is in place.

At BRIDGES I make sure no matter gets stuck over paper. What I love most is the day an authority sends an approval without a single request: it means the filing was flawless.

I am from Leipzig, lived in Berlin and now live in Budapest with my husband and daughter. I have been learning Hungarian for three years and can already argue at the market if someone short-changes me.

I sing in an amateur choir and love Bach, as befits a girl from Leipzig. At weekends I cycle along the Danube and write to-do lists for the week: without them I am not myself.

A Golden Visa for talent, not for an apartment

Everyone told Yaroslav, an AI researcher, the same thing: if you want a Golden Visa, buy property worth a couple of million dirhams. But his money was working in his startup, and he did not want to pull it out for an apartment.

We filed him under the outstanding talent category: patents, publications, recommendations. I assembled the portfolio in the format the ministry expects and prepared the filing for endorsement.

Outcome: Endorsement granted, a 10-year Golden Visa without property

Vanuatu · passport

A passport that is not renewed

A client’s old-style five-year Vanuatu passport was expiring, with a bank check and a trip ahead. Many think a passport can be extended, but a new one is issued instead.

We checked the documents, assembled the set for a new passport and arranged the filing. Two to three months later the client received a new biometric passport.

Outcome: A new 10-year biometric Vanuatu passport
