Where they started
The client is an old acquaintance of ours: several years ago we processed Saint Kitts and Nevis citizenship for him. At that time, the objective was different - to obtain a reliable second passport. Over time, plans expanded: the family needed a residence permit in the European Union, closer to Europe, with all the advantages of European residency. And the client returned to us specifically - because we already know his history and documentation.
Why the standard route did not work
An important principle worked here: one of our solutions becomes the foundation for the next. Unlike Russian nationals with a Russian passport (for whom Greek Golden Visa is not directly accessible), this client already has a Caribbean passport of Saint Kitts and Nevis - a non-sanctioned country. This means he applies for Greek residence permit directly, as a citizen of Saint Kitts and Nevis, without any workarounds or obtaining a new second passport.
What BRIDGES had to solve
We only needed to add the European component: the Saint Kitts and Nevis passport is one of the most respected Caribbean passports, and the application for Greek GV proceeded smoothly with it. Since the client is a returning customer, we did not collect everything from scratch - many documents and background checks had already been completed during citizenship processing, which expedited the application.
Why a standard answer would not do
At BRIDGES, we handled the standard Golden Visa component: real estate investment meeting Greek thresholds and residence permit application based on the Caribbean passport. As a result, a European residence permit was added to the strong Caribbean citizenship - a solution on top of a solution, for a client who has trusted us for years.
We got our St Kitts passport with BRIDGES, and they still had our file. Martina updated only what had expired and filed the Greek residence application without a single additional request.
