Path

Tallinn, Limassol, Budapest

Tallinn, Limassol, Budapest. First incorporation and bookkeeping for non-resident companies, then a company secretary in Cyprus, now everything that keeps BRIDGES clients’ companies and statuses in order.

  1. 1985Tallinn

Born in Tallinn. Her mother is an accountant, and Eva was already balancing reports as a schoolgirl, helping her at the end of each quarter.

  2. 2003-2007Tallinn

Faculty of economics, specialising in accounting and audit. In her final year she also worked at a firm that incorporated companies for foreigners.

  3. 2007-2013Tallinn

Six years in corporate services: incorporating non-resident companies, accounting, registered address, annual reports. This is where she learned the main thing: a company lives as long as its deadlines do.

  4. 2013-2017Limassol

Company secretary at a fiduciary firm in Cyprus. Boards of directors, registers, filings with the companies registry, correspondence with banks that checked every company after 2013.

  5. 2017Sergey Evdokimov’s team

Joined Sergey’s team to run clients’ companies and accounting in Cyprus and Malta. Her first tasks: an office and directors on the island for companies that needed real substance.

  6. TodayBudapest

Heads the BRIDGES operations department. Clients’ companies, accounting, secretarial services and the calendar of every deadline - reports, renewals, payments - go through Eva.

Approach to cases

Six rules that do not depend on the country

Six rules Eva applies to clients’ companies and statuses.

  1. 01Every deadline is in the calendar

Reports, renewals, taxes, insurance: all of a client’s dates in one calendar with a reminder a month ahead, not in a manager’s memory.

  2. 02A company has to live, not just exist on paper

An office, a director, decisions on the ground. An empty company with an address loses the very first tax or bank check.

  3. 03Report on time, status intact

Many statuses rest on annual reports. One missed paper costs more than a whole year of the secretary’s work.

  4. 04One set of books, the whole picture

The company, the personal status and the bank are run together. That shows where a company decision will hit the family’s taxes.

  5. 05Any document in a minute

Articles, resolutions, statements, reports - in one place and in order. The bank and the authority get an answer the same day.

  6. 06The client hears first

About a deadline, a rule change or a bank’s question the client hears from us in advance, not from the authority’s letter.

Beyond work

Order, running and the northern forest

At BRIDGES I make sure a client has no unpleasant surprises after the status is granted. I love it when everything adds up: the report filed, the deadline extended, the bank answered the same day, and the client never even knew there was a question.

I am from Tallinn, spent four years in Limassol and now live in Budapest with my husband and son. My son goes to a Hungarian school and laughs at my accent. In summer we go to Estonia: a cottage by the forest, a sauna and a lake.

I run along the embankment in the mornings and run the Budapest half marathon every year. At home everything is on its shelf, and colleagues know: if a document is needed urgently, ask Eva.

Case stories

Three matters in Eva’s own words

How We Restored Malta MPRP Permanent Residence for an Entire Family After Missing the Annual Report

Malta · PR

One missed paper and the whole family’s status

Pavel, his wife and two children obtained Malta PR, and he believed the status would simply be there from then on. His company secretary failed to file the annual report for the third year, and an order arrived suspending the whole family’s cards.

We gathered the documents for the missed period, the lawyers flew to Valletta and filed an appeal. And I set up a calendar of every deadline for the family so it never happens again.

Outcome: The whole family’s PR restored

How We Relocated a Company to Cyprus with Real Substance to Withstand Tax Residency Scrutiny

Cyprus · company

A company that lives on the island, not just on paper

A business owner wanted to move his company to Cyprus for the tax regime but knew that a firm with only an address is a risk. A company’s residence is set by where it is really managed.

We built a presence on the island: an office, a local director, board meetings in Cyprus, accounting and the bank there too. Every decision is documented so it stands up to a check.

Outcome: A company in Cyprus with real presence, the regime stands

How a Trading Company in Malta Reduced Effective Tax to 5% Through GRP Integration

Malta · company

A clean EU company with an offshore-level tax

Nurlan from Kazakhstan imports goods from Asia and was looking for a holding company in Europe. Malta’s 35% rate scared him, and an offshore today closes doors at banks and suppliers.

We linked a trading company in Malta with the tax refund system and his personal GRP status. We keep the books and reports ourselves so the refund arrives on time and without questions.

Outcome: Effective tax rate reduced to 5%
