Residency for talentsand specialists

A section for people whose status rests on qualification: documented achievements, professional experience or an in-demand specialty. No investment is required — the state evaluates the file. The catalog holds four programs: the UAE, France, Switzerland and the USA.

  • Achievement files built to the authority’s criteria
  • Chances assessed before filing, not after a refusal
  • Over 8,000 cases in 20 years

01 / Who it is for

Who receives this status

The common requirement across the section is provable qualification. Its form varies: publications, awards, projects, a position or an in-demand profession.

Specialists with a name

Scientists, engineers, cultural and sports figures with documented achievements: publications, awards, notable projects.

In-demand professionals

Experience and a specialty the country’s market needs: from IT to medicine. The file decides — and, where required, the employer.

Founders and creative entrepreneurs

The French Passeport Talent also covers project creators: the card is issued for qualification and a plan.

Families of specialists

In all four programs the spouse and children receive status together with the applicant.

03 / Before you choose

Four questions before choosing a country

The routes of this section read a file differently. These four points show where your chances are higher.

Question 01

What your file looks like

Publications, awards, press, projects, references. O-1 needs three criteria of eight; France needs qualification matching the chosen ground.

Question 02

Whether an employer is needed

In Switzerland the employer and the canton decide; in the USA a petitioner files. The French Passeport Talent works without one on several grounds.

Question 03

What happens to the status next

France leads to PR and citizenship; the Swiss B permit matures into a permanent C. O-1 renews as long as the work continues.

Question 04

Who travels with you

The spouse and children receive status in all four programs. The spouse’s right to work differs — we check it in advance.

In specialist routes the state is not buying money — it is buying competence. Our job is to present your qualification so the authority actually sees it.

05 / Why BRIDGES

Why clients come to BRIDGES

The requirements are the same for everyone — governments set them. Only the quality of support differs.

01

We translate achievements into criteria

The authority reads a file through its own checklist. We arrange your publications, projects and awards exactly under those points.

02

An honest assessment at the start

If the criteria are not yet met, we say so at once and show what to strengthen — instead of filing on luck.

03

The family and the move as one project

The spouse’s status, the children’s schools, housing and banking run alongside the main case.

04

Over 8,000 cases in 20 years

In practice since 2004. We know how the authorities actually work, not just the letter of the law — and we say honestly when a route is not right for you.

06 / Q & A

Frequently asked questions

Often, yes. The criteria are broader than they seem: publications, membership in professional associations, high income, notable projects, judging and peer review all count. For O-1 three criteria of eight are enough. A file assessment before filing shows the real picture.

It depends on the route. In Switzerland the status is built on an employer and the canton’s approval; in the USA an employer or agent files the O-1 petition. The French Passeport Talent can be obtained without a local employer on several grounds.

The section’s typical timeline is two to four months from filing a complete package. More time usually goes into preparing the file: collecting proof, translations, references. That part we take on ourselves.

Yes, in all four programs the spouse and minor children receive status together with the applicant. The spouse’s right to work differs by route — we check it before filing.

France — yes: the card leads to PR and, with residence, to citizenship. In Switzerland the B permit matures into a permanent C permit over time. O-1 grants no permanent status but renews without limit and often becomes a step toward a green card on other grounds.
