A digital nomad’s earnings are expressly exempt from income tax in the country — a rare thing in the European Union.
- A stay of up to 18 months
The permit is granted for up to a year and a half. It cannot be renewed: once it ends a break of 6 months is required.
- Means from €3,622 a month
The threshold is tied to the average wage in the country and is revised. It rises for every member of the family.
- Croatia is in the Schengen area and the euro zone
