Yes, and it is the only Caribbean programme with that possibility: Grenada has a treaty with the United States that opens the E-2 investor visa. An important condition: since 2019 the United States has required that the treaty-country citizenship be held for at least three years before the visa application. So the route is built in advance, not “for a deal next month”.

A spouse, children up to 30, parents, grandparents and unmarried siblings aged 18 and over. The programme sets no upper limit on the number of dependants. The $235,000 contribution covers the applicant and three dependants; parents and grandparents aged 55 and under and siblings are paid for separately whatever the composition — the calculator above takes that into account.

The agency undertakes to consider a complete file within 60 working days provided the screening is passed, and the passport is issued within days of the request. With the collection and legalisation of documents the whole path takes from three to six months. The programme has no expedited procedure for a surcharge.

The contribution to the National Transformation Fund from $235,000 is non-refundable, but it is the simplest and most predictable route. A share in an approved project is from $270,000 plus a $50,000 state contribution; the property is held for at least five years and can then be sold. Buying a property outright starts at $350,000. On the all-in total the fund is almost always cheaper.

Yes. Grenada permits dual citizenship and does not require you to give up your current passport. It is worth checking separately how the law of your current country of citizenship treats a second citizenship.

The Grenada passport is biometric and valid for five years. Renewal does not require a further contribution: under the law a citizen is entitled to a passport and cannot be refused one. We prepare and coordinate the renewal for our clients.

Yes. The visa waiver agreement with the European Union was signed on 28 May 2015: the Schengen area is available for 90 days out of every 180. The United Kingdom keeps visa-free entry but requires an ETA electronic authorisation. The European Union is introducing a similar authorisation, ETIAS — that is not a visa and is arranged online.

The state carries out full due diligence through independent contractors: the origin of funds, convictions, investigations, sanctions lists and reputational risk. All the fees are non-refundable, so we run a preliminary check before filing: if we see a material risk of refusal we say so plainly and propose an alternative programme.

Citizenship on its own is not tax residency. Grenada does not tax income earned outside it and has no inheritance tax, gift tax or capital gains tax. Your tax obligations are still determined by the country where you actually live — we go through that separately at the consultation.

Yes. A spouse, children and other dependants can be added after citizenship has been granted, through a separate procedure under the rules in force, paying the fees for each person added. There is no deadline for that.
