Scope of the check
What we check
Sources of income and origin of funds
We analyse how your income and capital were formed, where the funds for the program come from and which documents can confirm their origin.
Business reputation and information in open sources
We check available information about you and companies linked to you: media publications, official announcements and open registers. We verify the accuracy of what we find and whether it relates to you, including possible name matches.
Sanctions restrictions and public positions
We check for possible matches with sanctions lists, information about prominent public positions and related circumstances that may require additional checks.
Legal and immigration circumstances
We analyse information about convictions, criminal proceedings, significant court disputes and previous immigration refusals. We assess their possible significance for the chosen program, taking into account the nature and current status of each circumstance.
Banks and transfer of funds
We look at the country and bank the funds are sent from, information about the payer and possible restrictions on the transfer. We determine which supporting documents the bank may request.
Information about the applicant and family members
We compare biographical data, citizenship, residence, professional activity and family composition with the program conditions. We identify discrepancies and information that needs to be clarified.
Result
What you learn from the check
We explain which circumstances may affect the review of the application, which information cannot yet be confirmed and which documents will help clarify the situation.
You receive guidance on further preparation: what needs to be added, which questions require separate review and which restrictions must be taken into account when taking part in the program and transferring funds.
How the check works
The preliminary check procedure
The preliminary assessment reflects the information and sources available on the date of the check. It does not replace the official check and does not guarantee citizenship or the completion of a bank transfer. The decision on citizenship is made by the competent authorities of Nauru, and on the transfer by the banks concerned.
We study your situation
We review the answers in the questionnaire and identify circumstances that need attention.
We verify information and clarify details
We compare the information with available sources. Where necessary we ask for explanations and documents that help confirm it.
We explain the risks and next steps
We discuss the results of the check, the restrictions identified and our guidance on preparing the application.
