Mission and principles

BRIDGES — comprehensive support forfamily, business and capital

BRIDGES handles citizenship and second passport, residence and permanent residence, international real estate, banking, tax, business, investment and capital structuring.

How we work
Private client advisory interior: floor-to-ceiling windows, travertine and light oak

We look at the client situation as a whole and build solutions so that they work together — today and in the years that follow.

For the client these questions are usually connected. A second citizenship or an additional residence permit can become part of a family plan B. Relocation affects tax residency and banking relationships. Buying property requires verification of the asset and the right ownership structure. International business means companies, accounts and decisions for the owner and the family.

Work can start with a single request: a second citizenship, a residence permit, a bank account, a property or a company. Our task is to anticipate the related questions in advance, so that solving one of them does not create a problem elsewhere.

Our role

Work with a client does not end with one service

BRIDGES can start with a specific task: obtain a second citizenship, arrange residence or permanent residence, open a bank account, register a company, acquire property or complete an investment transaction.

Then the next questions appear: keeping the status, taxes, banking, the ownership structure of assets, education of children, new property, business, inheritance or an additional jurisdiction for the family.

We keep the history of the work and take earlier decisions into account in every following project.

The client does not have to assemble a new team and explain the situation from scratch when the next task appears.

Family, business, real estate and capital can be located in different countries. BRIDGES connects these tasks through one team.

BRIDGES today

What we resolve for clients today

Citizenship

Second citizenship through investment, family, economic and other grounds provided by law. Preliminary assessment, preparation of the file and support of the family through to completion.

Residence and permanent residence

Banking and capital

Opening personal and corporate accounts, banking compliance, Source of Funds / Source of Wealth and preparation of the financial file.

International business

Incorporation and redomiciliation of companies, corporate structures, bank accounts, relocation of owners and operating infrastructure.

Real estate

Search, verification, acquisition and sale of residential and commercial property, ownership structuring and transaction support.

Tax residency

Analysis of the consequences of relocation, change of tax position and coordination of decisions across several jurisdictions.

Due diligence

Verification of individuals, companies, beneficial owners, real estate, counterparties and investment projects.

Family, assets and succession

Statuses of family members, ownership of assets, education of children, succession planning and transfer of capital.

Risk & compliance

Sanctions, banking, corporate, country and reputational risks.

A client can come to BRIDGES with one task. The team has to see the whole picture around it.

Group development

BRIDGES expands the options available to existing clients

We develop the directions that logically continue the work already being done: real estate, investment, asset management, risk assessment and our own digital infrastructure.

How we make decisions

First we verify. Then we recommend.

Before proposing a citizenship, a residence permit, a country, a bank, a property, a company or an investment structure, we assess the starting position of the client, the constraints and the possible consequences.

  1. 01Citizenship and residency

We check the grounds, the requirements of the programme, the composition of the family, the history of the applicant and the factors that can affect the procedure.

  2. 02Banking

We assess the client profile, the origin of funds, the structure of the business and the requirements of the particular financial institution.

  3. 03Tax

We check the consequences of relocation, of holding assets and of a change of tax residency.

  4. 04Real estate

We check the property, the seller or developer, the title, the contracts and the structure of the transaction.

  5. 05Business

We analyse the jurisdiction, the structure of the company, the banking infrastructure and the consequences for the owner.

  6. 06Investment

We check the asset, the counterparty, the documents, the ownership structure and the exit terms.

  7. 07Risk

We take into account sanctions, banking, corporate, country and reputational factors.

We recommend a solution based on the task of the client, not on which programme is easier to arrange.

BRIDGES Freedom OS

The whole international structure of the client — in one space

We are building a secure digital environment in which the client will be able to see:

citizenships and residence permits · documents · companies · banks · real estate · tax · assets · family · risks · current projects

And to understand:

what is completed · what is in progress · what needs attention · what the next action will be

One workspace. One team. One current picture across all directions.

Long-term support

The next task has to take account of earlier decisions

Today the client obtains a second citizenship or a residence permit.

Then a bank account, a company, a property or a change of tax residency may be needed.

A few years later questions arise about education of children, investment, succession, transfer of the business or the structure of assets.

BRIDGES keeps the history of previous projects and takes it into account when the next decisions are made.

We do not start again from zero after every completed project.

BRIDGES principles

Six rules of our work

  1. 01The client interest comes before the product

We do not recommend a programme merely because we are able to arrange it. The solution has to match the real task of the client.

  2. 02Verification before action

Legal, banking, financial and compliance risks have to be identified before material costs and irreversible decisions.

  3. 03Solutions have to work together

Citizenship, residency, tax, banking, business and the structure of assets must not contradict each other.

  4. 04The client understands the process

Before the start and during the project we explain the stages, the timing, the costs, the risks and the responsibility of each side.

  5. 05Confidentiality by default

Client information is disclosed only to the extent required to carry out the particular task.

  6. 06Responsibility does not end with the transaction

After a passport, a status, an account or a completed transaction, BRIDGES can continue to support the related questions of the client.

Responsibility

BRIDGES is fully responsible for its part of the project

BRIDGES is responsible for

  • analysis of the situation
  • structure of the project
  • preparation of documents
  • the work of the team
  • coordination of specialists
  • our own deadlines
  • communication
  • identification of material risks

Decisions on citizenship, residency, banking services and other regulated matters are taken by the relevant state authorities, banks, courts and regulators.

We do not replace the powers of independent authorities. We are responsible for the quality of preparation and support of the project on our side.

BRIDGES always stays alongside the client — however the tasks change

Citizenship · residency · family · banking · business · real estate · capital

One point of coordination

One BRIDGES team for the whole task

A single project can simultaneously involve immigration lawyers, tax advisers, banks, notaries, auditors, real estate specialists, compliance experts and local attorneys in several countries.

The client does not need to find and coordinate each participant personally.

BRIDGES assembles the team, allocates the areas of responsibility and runs the project through one point of coordination.
