The NTF (National Transformation Fund) is Grenada’s state fund, into which the main non-refundable contribution under the citizenship by investment programme is paid. The fund contribution is the fastest and most common route to a Grenadian passport, an alternative to buying approved real estate.

The contribution starts from about $235,000 per family (the amount depends on the family composition and is periodically updated by the state). It is non-refundable money — a contribution to the country’s development, not an investment that can be recovered. Unlike real estate, an NTF contribution does not tie up capital in a property and does not require a later sale.

Grenada’s value lies not only in the passport: it is the only Caribbean programme with access to the US E-2 visa (a business visa for citizens of treaty countries) and with visa-free entry to China.
