Where they started
The client had Jewish roots and exercised the right to repatriation - obtaining Israeli citizenship under the Law of Return. Subsequently, seeking a European residence permit, he approached us.
Why the standard route did not work
It is important to highlight the contrast we discussed in other cases in this series. Russians and Belarusians cannot access Greece's Golden Visa from 2022 onwards based on their passports - we first obtain a second passport from a non-sanctioned country. Israeli citizens do not need this: their passport is not subject to restrictions, therefore the path is direct - without second citizenship and workarounds.

Israeli passport is not subject to restrictions, therefore a repatriate applies for Greek residence permit directly - no second passport required. First Israeli citizenship through ancestry, then standard Golden Visa.
Why a standard answer would not do
At BRIDGES we guided the client through the direct Golden Visa route: prepared documents, assisted with bank accounts and fund transfers, selected and registered real estate meeting program thresholds, and submitted for residence permit. The European portion was conducted in standard manner.
