Where they started
The client is a long-term acquaintance: several years ago, we processed Dominican citizenship for him. The objective then was different—to obtain a reliable second passport. Over time, plans expanded: the family needed a residence permit in the European Union, closer to Europe, with all the advantages of European residency. The client returned to us—because we already know his history and documentation.
Why the standard route did not work
An important principle applied here: one of our solutions becomes the foundation for the next. Unlike Russians with a Russian passport (who do not have direct access to Greek Golden Visa), this client already holds a Caribbean passport from Dominica—a non-sanctioned country. This means he applies for Greek residence permit directly, as a Dominican citizen, without any workarounds or need for an additional second passport.
What BRIDGES had to solve
We only needed to add the European component: Dominica was a cost-effective entry to a second passport, and Greek residence permit became the next step in the EU. Since the client is established with us, we did not collect documents from scratch—many documents and verifications had already been completed during citizenship processing, which accelerated the application.
Why a standard answer would not do
At BRIDGES, we handled the standard Golden Visa process: real estate investment meeting Greek thresholds and submission of the residence permit application using the Caribbean passport. As a result, a strong Caribbean citizenship was complemented with a European residence permit—a solution on top of a solution, for a client who has trusted us for years.

It turned out to be straightforward: the Caribbean passport is non-sanctioned, so I apply for Greek Golden Visa directly, without any additional passports, unlike Russians. You added the European component—the investment and application—and I obtained Greek residence permit on top of my Caribbean passport.
